2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport Shows Off Improved Look At NYC Auto Show

Live on the floor at the 2010 New York City Auto Show, Suzuki is displaying the new Sport version of the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi. The near perfect blend of styling, performance, and value all make the Kizashi a solid, and economical car for just about anyone. And with the addition of the Sport package, we at Dave Arbogast feel that the little extra bit of styling and performance make the Kizashi even more appealing.
The Sport package consists of a new lower front fascia with an extended lip, chrome surrounds and blacked out honeycomb grille inserts. The sides get a similar restyling with sill extensions and a chrome highlight strip and the tail gets a simple decklid spoiler. On the inside, there is a sport steering wheel and contrasting stitching throughout the cabin. All of this with a firmed up suspension is sure to make the Kizashi a fun, eye-catching car.
Unfortunately we were disappointed to hear that Suzuki doesn't plan on adding a V6 or a hybrid version to the Kizashi platform anytime soon. This was kind of expected after General Motors and Suzuki parted ways and the V6 power plant was likely to come from GM. Prices won't be announced until the Kizashi Sport goes on sale in July.
