Buick May Have Your Post Recession Cure

In a post recession economy GM believes that the answer for those in search of a new vehicle is Buick. Buick believes that buyers who made it out of the recession OK, but will still be cautious of their spending and not looking to attract too much attention will look to the Buick line of vehicles for a luxury without the giant price tag.

This appeal brought a 52% increase in sales to Buick last year, with hopes that looking back next year, that percentage will be even greater with the introduction of their new premium compact sedan the Verano.

The Verano is a front wheel drive sedan compared to other small luxury vehicles that are rear wheel drive and place their emphasis on handling and speed. The Verano places its strength in its smooth, quiet ride.

New Buick Navigation System Includes Pandora

Exciting technological advancements announced for the 2012 Buick Verano and the 2013 line-up! The hottest new trend in music is Pandora, the satellite radio application which allows users to listen to streaming music uninterrupted. Similar to the way that Sirius and XM Radio once were.

Buick announced its new IntelliLink Infotainment System in April of this year. The IntelliLink System is designed to allow the driver to access and control a Smartphone or other USB device via steering wheel controls, voice activation or the touchscreen.

This is an added convenience for drivers, and an advancement in technology, but it is also seen as a step forward in safety making is easy for the driver to keep their eyes on the road at all times and off of their phones and other devices.

Other automakers have announces similar new features on their new models including Mercedes, BMW, and Mini Cooper. Buick is definitely stepping up their game to bring you a cutting edge product from all facets. New interior and exterior styling, as well as redesigned functioning systems like the IntelliLink system...

2012 Regal GS Dominates At The Nevada Road Rally

At the Silver State Classic this weekend, Buick whipped out a 2012 Buick Regal GS. In lesser words, they dominated. They may not put out cars for racing as well as Chevrolet or Ferrari or Porsche, but this car was just as stunning as could be. When it was all said and done they won first prize.

This road rally is a high-speed achieving 90-mile stretch of Nevada State Highway 318, and ends roughly 120 miles north of Las Vegas. The drivers must maintain a average speed which is set by the officials. No matter what the terrain gave them, and no matter how sharp a curve was. They had to finish the course in atleast 45 minutes, 0.019 seconds, and average a speed of 119 mph.

The 120mph class of the SSSC is where the 2012 Regal GS found itself, so they had to maintain that time frame. Not only did they win Best In Class, but they placed higher on the roster than 34 other rookie teams. That gave them to privilege of winning the Most Accurate Rookie award, and being able to hold that crown for a little while...

Regal Continues to Make Waves in the Industry

It appears Buick's hottest selling sedan has led to the manufacturer's 23rd straight month of retail sales gains.

According to a press release sent out by the Detroit-based car manufacturer Buick today, August Regal Turbo sales could potentially reach an all-time high since the car's launch in

Buick to Get New Model in US

Last month Europe got its first look at the 2012 Opel Astra GTC. Why do we care here in the United States? Well, General Motors has announced that it will be coming over the ocean to us in the form of a new model Buick!

The Astra is not new in the states, it was here originally as the Saturn Astra. Opel took the vehicle, redesigned and drastically improved it and released it as the Astra GTC.

The car will be offered with hatchback and convertible models, as well as four and six cylinder models. The Astra would have probably come into the Pontiac line up if it were still around, but it will now help to continue with the reshaping of the Buick image.

IntelliLink to be Introduced in 2012 Models

 Gone are the days when a cell phone was chosen purely by its ability to place and receive calls.  With the advent of the smartphone, having apps that combine practicality with functionality are swiftly becoming the norm.  Smartphones such as the iPhone and Android allow us to read the newspaper, watch YouTube videos, and get directions all with the touch of a button.

GM is looking to cash in on the smartphone craze, and directly compete with the Ford SYNC, with its MyLink system that is scheduled to come out later this year on Chevrolet models, and will soon be expanding it into the Buick and GMC brands.  It is being changed to IntelliLink for  new Buick and GMC models, but will be virtually identical to MyLink.  The newest models to feature this top of the li ne technology are the 2012 Buick Regal, LaCrosse, and Verano, and the 2012 GMC Terrain.
