Going on a test drive when you're buying a new or used car is one of the most important steps in the buying process.  It helps you to determine whether or not the vehicle that you are interested is an appropriate fit for your driving style and needs.

You'll be better to determine which car or truck is right for you when you know what you need before you even set foot on any Dayton Car Dealers lot.  For example, if have a long commute, good gas mileage is probably something you're looking for.  If you have kids, a backseat big enough for child seats may be important.

Make sure you are comfortable in the vehicle.  You should be able to get in and out of the vehicle easily, the seat belt should fit well, you need to have plenty of leg and head room, and it's important that you can reach the controls easily.

While on your test drive, drive the vehicle just like you would if you owned it.  If you drive on the highway a lot, ask if you can drive it somewhere at highway speeds.  If you live somewhere with a lot of hills or curvy roads, make sure it handles well on similar roads.

Our Dayton Buick GMC Suzuki staff goes on test drives to help our customers make sure they find the right vehicle for you and your family.  Contact our sales staff at 866-975-3287 or on the Arbogast Buick GMC Suzuki website.

Suzuki Kizashi Awarded 5-Star Crash Test Ratings

Not only does the new Suzuki Kizashi look good but also is extremely safe. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has awarded the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi with five-star ratings in frontal and side-impact crash tests, the highest possible rating given.

The all-new Kizashi includes a class-leading list of standard safety equipment, including class-exclusive standard eight airbags and a tire pressure monitoring system. Additionally, the 2010 Kizashi already meets some of the crash standards put in place for the year 2014, including rigorous side pole crash and side barrier crash standards. Better illumination is achieved in the Kizashi with standard projector beam headlights and supplemental side-mounted signal lights.

There is no better time to visit your Dayton Area Suzuki Dealer, Dave Arbogast to test-drive the new Suzuki Kizashi.

Time Magazine Most Exciting Cars of 2010: Suzuki Kizashi

The 2010 Suzuki Kizashi continues to gather praise from consumers and enthusiasts alike.  The vehicles latest review comes way of Time Magazines Most Exciting Cars of 2010.  The magazine released this statement about the all new Kizashi:

Known for small cars and SUVs, Suzuki makes its first foray into the heart of the U.S. market with the midsize Kizashi sedan. The exterior styling is fresh, and the interior packs cool features such as sporty seats and a nifty instrument cluster that give the car character. The Kizashi's key asset could be its power train, which includes a new 4-cylinder aluminum engine that can be matched up to either a six-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable automatic transmission. Kizashi won't go on sale until late fall, and the price is expected to be in the low-$20,000 range. Toyota and Honda better look over their shoulders, because the Kizashi makes clear that Suzuki intends to claim a share of the midsize market in the U.S.  [Time]

It is extremely exciting for Arbogast Suzuki to start seeing the new Kizashi hit the lot.  The first Kizashi already came and went, no we are waiting for the next shipment.  Like any new model they trickle in slowly, but soon we should have a large inventory of the exciting new sedan. Suzuki Kizashi: First Drive

I had my first chance to drive the all new 2010 Suzuki Kizashi Saturday.   My first impression was, finally a Suzuki that kicks butt!  I was awed by the bold and sporty styling inside and out but most of all I love the price.  When I first saw the car I was thinking $26k, $27k until I saw the window sticker...$22,359! The Kizashi defiantly wow's with the price, not to mention this one has the upgraded transmission and a bunch of other goodies including premium wheels, power driver's seat with 10-way adjustment and three-position memory, and a leather wrapped parking brake handle and steering wheel with cruise control.

The base model Kizashi starts at $18,999, which includes a manual transmission. Standard features include a six-speed manual, eight airbags, push-button start, dual-zone climate control, a nine-speaker audio system, EPS stability control, ABS, projector beam headlights, power windows, doors and mirrors, and ambient footwell lighting.

Overall I am extremely impressed with the engineering, gas mileage, looks and price.  The all new Kizashi defiantly delivers value and versatility.   I would highly suggest test driving one and adding it to your list of new car
choices.  What's it going to hurt, it's just a test drive...give the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi a crack.   Visit Arbogast Suzuki your Dayton area Suzuki Dealer or call 1-866-975-3287.

Spy Shots: Americans, meet the next-gen Suzuki Swift

Suzuki finally seems headed in the right direction: away from a lineup clogged with SUVs towards one chock full of fun-to-drive cars. The SX4 was a good start and the Kizashi, in our estimation, is a home run. But the brand that's big everywhere else in the world has one car after which we've always lusted, the Swift. You may remember the Swift from back in the day as a rebadged Geo Metro (or vice versa), but that name carried on in other global markets where it was eventually affixed to the fifth generation Swift that debuted in 2004. Think of it as a poor man's Mini.

While Americans won't get to sample the fifth-gen Swift, Suzuki has indicated that the sixth-gen model currently under development will be sold in the U.S. And here it is in three-door guise.'

It's best to aim high, right? While most of the automotive world (ourselves included) are busy comparing the rather wonderful 2010 Suzuki Kizashi with logical competitors like the Volkswagen Jetta - not to mention larger cars like the Honda Accord, Mazda6 and Ford Fusion - it seems the Japanese automaker itself has its sights set a bit higher... all the way up to the Audi A4 and Acura TSX, point of fact.

Called the "Kizashi Test Drive Challenge" incentive program, Suzuki is offering sport sedan buyers $100 if they test drive the Kizashi first and still end up purchasing either a 2010 Audi A4 2.0T or four-cylinder 2010 Acura TSX within 10 days of the test drive. The program ends runs through January 31, 2010. Says Koichi Suzuki, executive vice president of American

Suzuki Automotive Operations:

With styling, performance characteristics, luxury features and a new advanced All-Wheel-Drive system on par with the Audi A4 and Acura TSX, we're excited to extend this unique offer to consumers across the country, providing potential sport sedan buyers another reason to consider the all-new Kizashi-at a substantial savings. We're definitely putting Kizashi's premium without the premium moniker to the test.
