Customer Service Representative (Automotive)

Job Status: Interviews Available

As a Business Development Center (BDC) Representative at Dave Arbogast, you will be responsible for setting appointments for our customers.

Reporting to the BDC Manager, you will have the opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art Business Development Center. You will become part of a championship team on the cutting edge of automotive business development. We offer you a professional work environment with continuous training and performance excellence as a team member of one of the Miami Valleys most successful dealerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set appointments with prospective customers for the sales force
• Handling incoming calls and following up on customer visits
• Responding to Internet lead requests
• Following up with past customers
• Forward customer concerns to the proper department manager for follow up
• No cold calling and no direct selling involved!

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must be willing and able to make 50+ outbound calls per day
• Excellent attendance required
• Must have good verbal skills and a clear speaking voice
• Must be proficient with computers
• Strong drive and desire to meet and exceed production goals
• Pleasant and engaging personality
• Call center or dealership experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail

Service Advisor

Dave Arbogast Buick GMC is seeking an experienced Service Advisor for our fast paced service department. The Service Advisor recommends proper repair to our valued customers and explains the value of maintaining their vehicle for optimal performance.

Automotive Service Advisor Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers promptly
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information
  • Answers owners’ questions
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend needed repairs in accordance with factory specifications
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage; explains provisions and exclusions
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers regularly
  • Maintains customer rapport by selling and explaining ethically needed vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Explaining all completed work and charges to the customer
  • Ensures every service experience exceeds owners expectations
  • Maintains critical and on-going relationship with owners

Automotive Service Advisor Qualifications:

  • Previous automotive Service Advisor experience
  • CDK/ADP experience a plus
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Interest in the automotive industry
  • Proved record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be self-managing
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Enthusiastic, driven and energetic with a positive attitude
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to manage detailed paperwork
  • Computer literacy
  • Valid driver’s license and with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check
