The cleanly sculpted lines of Buick’s flagship sedan have made it a popular choice among families for years. Now, with the 2017 Buick LaCrosse changes coming to Troy and Dayton later this summer, there is a whole new reason to get excited about this feature-filled sedan. Learn what the new LaCrosse will have to offer when the redesign makes its debut later this July, then stop by Dave Arbogast to check out the 2016 models ready to drive home today.
Longer and lower than previous years, the 2017 LaCrosse’s more aerodynamic profile, plus the use of lighter sound-deadening materials, will improve stability and control while reducing weight by nearly 300 pounds— potentially translating into improved fuel-efficiency ratings.
The 2017 Buick LaCrosse redesign will also feature a more powerful engine with the introduction of a 3.6L V6 motor and 8-speed automatic transmission combination that features fuel saving start/stop technology as well as enhanced performance. Together, this combination is said to generate 305 hp and up to 268 lb.-ft. of torque.
Buick is also adding new safety technology with the innovative Safety Alert Seat, which will work in conjunction with other optional safety systems to vibrate when alerts are received, making it easier for drivers to avoid incidents. The 2017 LaCrosse will also include access to the Teen Driver System, making it possible to monitor your new driver and keep track of their driving habits as they learn the rules of the road.
The bulk of the 2017 LaCrosse features will likely remain unchanged, including access to features like the Bose Centerpoint Premium 11-speaker surround sound system with sound stage signal processing envelope for premium sound. Other features reportedly making the cut are the standard driver’s memory settings for seats and outside mirrors, the auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated leather-appointed driver and front passenger seating, and the remote vehicle starter system, making even the base LaCrosse trim one of the most luxurious family cars on the market.
Troy and Dayton drivers can still get a well-equipped 2016 Buick LaCrosse starting at under $39K and enjoy the following features:
