2013 Buick Enclave Has Arrived! Since its debut during the 2008 model year, the Buick Enclave has been at the forefront of the ascendancy of General Motors’ (GM) Buick marque. And now, the 2013 edition of the full-size luxury crossover SUV is here–with enough updates to ensure its place as one of the best choices in the market.

The 2013 Buick Enclave is split into three models: Convenience, Leather and Premium. Each SUV is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 that generates 288 horsepower at 6,300 revolutions per minute (rpm) and 270 pound-feet at 3,400 rpm, which is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. A dual stainless-steel exhaust is integrated in the fascia. Customers have a choice between a front-wheel drive (FWD); and all-wheel drive (AWD), which enhances driving control over a variety of road surfaces. With the FWD, fuel economy is estimated at 17 miles per gallon (mpg) in the city and 24 mpg on the highway (17/24 mpg). With the AWD, it’s 16/22 mpg. Standard towing capacity is estimated at 2,000 lbs, with the peak capacity of 4,500 lbs.

GM installs a four-wheel independent suspension on the 2013 Buick Enclave for cushioned comfort. A vehicle stability control system called StabiliTrak, paired with traction control, is implemented for the SUV’s handling abilities. Four-wheel disc brakes and anti-lock braking enhance the vehicle’s braking.

Each 2013 Buick Enclave gets aluminum wheels: 18 inches on the Convenience, 19 inches on the others. The SUV gets a revised and more prominent chrome waterfall grille and a pair of daytime-running Xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) projector headlights with blue tint lenses and chromed bezels. Other exterior features of the Buick Enclave include roof-mounted luggage rack side rails and heated power side mirrors.

With a passenger space measured at 153 lbs., the 2013 Buick Enclave has enough space for up to seven people. The interior is tweaked from previous years, with a redesigned dashboard that consists of wood and chrome accents, touchscreen Buick IntelliLink display and blue ambient lighting. Six airbags–two front, two seat-mounted front side and two side curtain–provide safety, GM includes its highly sophisticated OnStar system that performs a wide range of services, including hands-free calling, roadside assistance, various remote car functions like door unlock and engine ignition block, turn-by-turn directions and vehicle diagnostics.

Other interior features of the 2013 Buick Enclave include eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat, leather upholstery, power windows and door locks, auto-dimming rearview mirror, universal transceiver and rear parking assist. For entertainment, each vehicle has at least a premium AM/FM/CD stereo system that includes HD Radio and SiriusXM satellite radio service.
