Despite those awe-inspiring work numbers, the 2015 GMC Sierra HD is no slacker in creature comforts , offering industry-leading and people-pleasing technology for driver and passengers.
Outside, most of the 2015 GMC Sierra lineup gets a refined and retooled front end with LED lighting on most packages.

Inside, entertainment and information are at your fingertips, controlled by an infotainment system featuring an intuitive eight-inch color touch screen.

Visibility and accessibility are the hallmarks of the all-new upright instrument panel, which features oversized knobs designed for easy control even while wearing gloves. Six gauges on the instrument cluster keep drivers apprised of everything they need to know about their 2015 GMC Sierra HD.

Additional technological and comfort improvements include leather upholstery, an available Bose audio system, a USB port to play music from a phone or flash drive, and heated and cooled front bucket seats.

Most models also include a standard 300-watt inverter for the cab, allowing small 120-volt appliances to enhance the Sierra?s comfortable feeling of home on the road.

Held over from the 2014 Sierra 1500 is the popular double cab body, featuring longer, front-hinged rear doors; access in tight spaces is easier and more comfortable than ever. Rear-seat passengers can now enter and exit the Sierra with front doors closed.

Cargo carrying – the 2015 GMC Sierra comes with 6-foot-6 and 8-foot box lengths ? is also easier with greater flexibility. A new CornerStep rear bumper features integrated steps for easier access to the cargo bed, and integrated lower and upper tie downs make securing a load a snap.

Available models include Work Truck, SLE and SLT trims and the premium Denali offering.

GM?s Vortec V8 producing 360 horsepower (380 pounds torque) is standard on all 2015 Sierra HD models matched to a six-speed automatic transmission. Diesel models get the reliable 6.6-liter Cummins Duramax turbodiesel making 397 horsepower and 765 pounds of torque. An Allison 1000 6-speed automatic transmission with tap shifting is matched with the diesel model.
