2016SierraHDBuilding on a 112-year history of heavy-duty trucks, the 2016 Sierra HD Lineup boasts several trims: base, SLE, SLT, and Denali. It also comes in Regular Double Cab and Crew Cab Model with either an 6’6” or 8′ bed depending on the trim. Several features are new or updated for the current GMC Sierra lineup.

Active Steering Assist makes driving easier on some Double-Cab and Crew-Cab models. It relies on electronic controls to improve road handling and stability whether or not the truck bed is empty or fully loaded. By increasing the steering feel and responsiveness, this feature makes it effortless to haul a trailer.

It’s available for Duramax-equipped trims and includes a hitch platform that’s mounted on the frame and a tray for hitching the gooesneck ball or hitch-mounting brackets. Also included is a trailer harness that mounts on the cargo bed. Add the Gooseneck Completion Kit to add two chain tie-downs and a 2-5/16-inch ball hitch.

An eight-inch version of the touchscreen is also available.
