2019 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Preview

GMC has officially rolled out the all new Sierra Denali for consumers to enjoy. But what makes the 2019 GMC Sierra Denali different from its predecessors?

One of the more prominent features will include their overall re-designed dimensions that will allow significantly more space than the previous model such as a longer wheelbase and about 3 inches more rear legroom in the crew cab body. But this is merely icing on the cake for the new Sierra Denali. In addition to the larger dimensions, the Sierra Denali will include a top state-of-the-art HD rear camera mirror. Contrary to a traditional rearview mirror, this latest generation rearview mirror display can function as either a traditional mirror or a camera screen, helping the driver remove any obstructions that may be in their way while providing a wider, less obstructed rear field view. This feature is one of many from the plethora of improved safety changes. The 2019 Sierra Denali will also be incorporated with lane change alerts in which drivers can be more aware of their blind spots when changing lanes. The improved brake system that consists of electro-hydraulic power assistance, larger-diameter Duralife brake rotors, and larger brake pads will aid drivers with sudden stops.

But what good is a pickup truck without its cargo capability? That is why the bed floor was widened by nearly seven inches, allowing for more volume. This bed floor was also rendered with higher-grade steel, making it 50-percent stronger than the previous model. But in addition to its strength, the bed floor’s functionality has also increased with enhanced LED cargo lights and 12 fixed cargo tie-downs, capable of enduring 500 pounds per corner. And because of the truck’s flawless tailgate, access to the cargo box has also been made easier. Its flexibility allows six functions and positions for enhanced second-tier loading and load top solutions, including a standing workstation. Also being GMC-exclusive, the industry-first CarbonPro carbon fiber has elevated the durability, efficiency, and functionality of the cargo box, increasing the resistance from any dents, corrosions, or scratches.

The Sierra Denali also provides the ability to adjust to different driving conditions with its dynamic fuel management system that can optimize 17-cylinder activation combinations from its V-8 engine. This makes the performance of the Sierra Denali impeccable, regardless of road conditions. Moreover, its Denali-exclusive, Adaptive Ride control, offers premium ride comfort through real-time monitoring of road and driver inputs, reacting in milliseconds to certain circumstances by exceptional body control and ride isolation.

The newly added features to the 2019 Sierra Denali are very apparent.
