The redesigned Regal and Regal GS for 2014 has inspired Buick to promote “Surprising Performances Everywhere” throughout the entirety of the NCAA tournament. The promotion will be a part of the in-studio breakdown of outstanding highlight performances or plays throughout the course of the day. These highlights will be featured as ?Surprising Performances? while analysts conduct post-game recaps on ?Inside March Madness presented by Buick?. Fans can find the special promotion broadcasted on truTV and TBS.

The promotion is somewhat apropos, since the newly redesigned 2014 Regal flies in the face of the typical expectations for the conventional sedan. The new Buick Regal sedan features sophisticated technology, a new sleek design and powertrain oriented towards performance. The standard 2014 Regal comes equipped with a turbocharged engine that produces 259 horsepower. The sedans also feature AWD with all-weather traction tires, a smoother ride and a quieter interior cabin. Buick anticipates that consumers will feel the enthusiasm and jubilation akin to watching the March Madness tournament unfold. Buick believes the Regal will exceed expectations consumers have for the midsize luxury sedan.

Buick will also have a display available in Capital One?s Bracket Town. Fans in North Texas who are attending the NCAA championship game will have the opportunity to view Buick?s entire product line. The 2014 Buick Regal will be featured under a spotlight at the event.

Fans attending the tournament will also have the opportunity to test their own basketball skills at the Regal Surprising Performances Challenge. The best times of fans who participated in the skills challenge will be posted on a scoreboard featured in the display. Each participant will finish the skills test by taking a drive to the hoop. The drive will be captured using time-splice technology so the fans? moves can be shared instantly online and downloaded using popular social media platforms. People who are unable to attend the NCAA events can still participate in March Madness 2014 by filling out one of the special NCAA brackets that Buick is sponsoring.
