Is Buick’s Avenir better than GMC’s Denali?

The Buick Avenir line of vehicles gives drivers a new option when it comes to luxury and cutting edge technology. Avenir is Buick’s relatively new top line of vehicles. Similar to the GMC Denali line, the Avenir’s offer a wealth of luxury features and upgrades. The Avenir also has heating for the second row seats. Another cabin amenity that’s unique to the Avenir is the in-vehicle ionization system which keeps the air inside the vehicle clean and eleminates odors. The Avenir wins again on headroom and legroom, and offers nearly 20 cubic feet more cargo space. The Avenir also has a standard dual moonroof, while the dual moonroof is an option on the Denali.

The infotainment systems both feature an 8 inch touchscreen, and there’s also OnStar navigation with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot onboard. The Avenir has a 10 speaker Bose audio system, while the Denali has an 8 speaker Bose system. The Avenir also features a wireless phone charging system. Nice!

Both have advanced safety features like a rear camera, 7 airbags and the Driver Alert safety system which uses a combination of radar, cameras and ultrasonic sensors to warn the driver of potential hazards. Some of these include front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning and a safety alert seat. In addition to the rear camera, the Avenir adds another Buick first, the rear camera mirror. Both have LED lighting, but the Avenir has Buick’s Evonik Acrylite exterior lighting system which uses over 100 exterior LEDs to strategically light the vehicle’s surroundings.
