Four Out of 10 Buick Enclave Owners Return for Newer Model
Returning Buick customers have helped catapult the 2013 Buick Enclave luxury crossover to its status as the brand’s hottest-selling model through the first quarter of 2013.
Retail sales of the Enclave are up nearly 40 percent, and four in 10 satisfied owners of first-generation Enclaves are trading up for the elegantly redesigned 2013 edition. The 2013 Buick Enclave arrived on showroom floors in November 2012, achieved record one-month sales in December 2012, and posted growth of 57 percent in January 2013 and 22 percent in February 2013.
According to vice president of Buick marketing Tony DiSalle, the 2013 Enclave is the first Buick model in the second generation of the revamped Buick brand. DiSalle indicated that younger customers more inclined toward luxury vehicles gave Buick in general and the Enclave in particular a try in 2007, and many have chosen to stay with Buick.
In addition to the overall quality, comfort, and exquisite styling of the Enclave, luxury amenities are indeed a significant factor for both first-time and repeat Enclave buyers. Buick reports an eight percent increase in the purchase of Enclave’s Premium Group option, and that 15 percent more of the orders for the 2013 Enclave include Buick’s navigation package. Options such as 20-inch wheels, the Bose audio system, and Rear Seat Entertainment have also proven very popular.
Buick added several features to the 2013 Buick Enclave luxury crossover including a new headlamp design, a monochromatic exterior look, and Buick’s signature waterfall grille. Design cues on the 2013 Enclave such as LED lighting and blue translucent rings surrounding the Xenon HID headlights make it instantly recognizable as a Buick.
The Enclave’s interior is as stylish as its outward presentation. Visual warmth accompanies the physical comfort of driver and passengers alike, particularly due to the new cocoa interior specifically developed for the Enclave complemented by Nuance sandstone leather. The Enclave features a new center stack that promotes intuitive interaction with the IntelliLink LCD touch screen. The bustle of traffic is blocked by Buick’s QuietTuning engineering system. The Enclave also provides more cargo space than models such as the Mercedes-Benz R Class, Audi Q7, and the Volvo XC90.
The redesigned 2013 Buick Enclave luxury crossover was chosen as a Consumer Digest “Best Buy.”
One of the most legendary brands in the annals of automobile history, Buick offers the best in styling, technology, and engineering among contemporary luxury brands. The unbeatable Buick fleet of award-winning models includes the Enclave crossover, LaCrosse, Regal, and Verano sedans, and the 2013 Encore crossover.
