GMC Military Discount Program
You have taken the time out of your life to serve our country bravely, and GMC would like to give something back in honor of National Military Appreciation Month by expanding its military discount program to provide coverage for all 21 million military veterans and their spouses, now through May 31.
The GMC military discount program can be combined with other offers, resulting in thousands of dollars in savings for veterans. Usually only available to active duty personnel, retirees, reservists and veterans that are within a period of one year of separation from the military, the program has been extended to all veterans for a limited time.
GMC has a long history of partnership with the United States military dating as far back as World War I, when soldiers relied on its trucks to get the job done in a tradition that continues to this day. GMC’s #enlistme campaign, offered in partnership with the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Tower Foundation and its Building For America’s Bravest program, builds specialized houses for injured combat veterans, allowing them to return to as normalized a life as possible after their time serving the country is completed. More than 200 houses will be built in total at a cost of around $600,000 each.
The GMC product lineup includes the Canyon and Sierra 1500 pickups, the Acadia and Terrain crossover SUVs and the Sierra HD line of heavy-duty trucks. Many of these are available in luxurious Denali trim levels, once again with the military discount program intact for even greater savings. The military discount is currently available on the 2016 Acadia, Canyon, Savana, Sierra, Terrain, Yukon and Yukon XL as well as the all-new 2017 Acadia, a re-imagined compact crossover SUV that is more maneuverable and easy to park than before without sacrificing passenger and cargo capability.
You have served your country with honor and dignity, and now it is time to treat yourself to the longest-lasting and most dependable trucks and SUVs in the industry with extra savings available through May 31, even if your time in the military is long behind you. It is all part of GMC’s continued commitment to our servicemen and women, rewarding them for a job well done.
