Hummer EV Crabwalk, Watts to Freedom, GMC Sierra AT4X Off Road Experience, Driving the Change Highlights

Video Highlights of the General Motors event “Driving the Change” at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The GM Event “Driving the Change” at Indianapolis Motor Speedway was a great hands on driving and learning experience for our team. We experienced the Hummer EV Crabwalk down pit row. Watts to Freedom (WTF) across the IMS start/finish line, which launches the vehicle from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds. One Pedal Driving allows you to drive and stop the vehicle completely with one pedal. The 4 wheel steering allows for an incredibly tight turning radius so the Hummer to maneuvers effortlessly in small spaces. Regen on demand reverses the polarity of the motors to slow the vehicle down and generates power back to the batteries with just a pull of the left paddle behind the steering wheel. The Hummer EV electric supertruck by GMC is just an impressive vehicle all around and loaded with all of the techy features that drivers demand.

The GMC Sierra AT4X Off Road Experience was incredible. We tested the versatile suspension and experienced the off road features of this incredibly capable truck. Some highlights were one pedal driving, locking differential test, and pushing the limits of the suspension of the Sierra AT4X. Super Cruise with the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate Edition was quite amazing. Having a vehicle essentially “drive itself” was impressive even during the lunchtime traffic rush around the Indianapolis interstates.

Trailering capabilities of the GMC Sierra with the 2.7 high output engine are excellent. You wouldn’t believe the power of this engine!
