For the third time in the last 3 consecutive years, GMC has been named Most Refined Brand by Kelley Blue Book in the auto industry publication’s annual Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Awards.

The award is taken from the Kelley Blue Book Strategic Insights’ Brand Watch study, where KBB.com tracks the vehicle insights and opinions of more than 12,000 new car shoppers just like you. Those shoppers placed GMC at the top of their lists in refinement more than any other brand, showing just how far the maker of dependable trucks and SUVs has come since its humble origins as a truck builder in 1902.

Particularly noteworthy to shoppers has been GMC’s luxury Denali sub-brand, which accounted for 23 percent of all retail sales in calendar-year 2015. The Denali trim level is available on the GMC Yukon, Sierra, Acadia and Terrain and adds a host of welcome exterior design themes and luxurious interior equipment. The package has proved so popular with buyers that Denali vehicles alone outsold the entire product catalogs of Jaguar, Porsche and Land Rover, among others, in 2015.

What about Denali, and the GMC brand as a whole, speaks refinement to customers at such a level as to grant GMC this important award from Kelley? Heated driver and passenger leather seating with French stitching and real aluminum accents create a cabin space to enjoy the road ahead while behind the wheel of the most powerful V-8 pickup in the industry, the GMC Sierra. Signature Denali badging and LED lighting elements further set these capable trucks and SUVs apart, showing off their refinement without sacrificing anything in the way of sheer capability.

GMC received particularly high ratings from KBB in the areas of interior layout, comfort, sophistication and prestige. That extends to the well-received GMC IntelliLink in-car infotainment system, which features a high degree of features when paired with Apple and Android smartphones and even has the ability to function as an in-car 4G wireless hotspot to power all your devices when on the go. This is just one of many features that set GMC trucks and SUVs apart in offering advanced creature comforts and tech features to go along with their raw capability.

Newest to hit the market from GMC is the all-new 2017 Acadia, featuring a more maneuverable form factor than before while still maintaining excellent passenger space and cargo capability. The midsize GMC Canyon gets its own Denali trim level for 2017, joining the other Denali models in offering key upgrades in visual appeal and interior comfort and technology. It is all part of GMC’s commitment to industry-leading refinement that extends to every product the truck and SUV maker produces, and the latest KBB study is just more proof in action that consumers are taking notice.
