New GMC Sierra Denali Photos Leaked Online

Screen captures of the next version of the GMC Sierra Denali pickup truck found their way to the internet faster than GM could pull down the page on their official website exhibiting three  models of the new vehicle. The website –  GM Authority –  managed to get the screen shots of the new GMC Sierra Denaliand posted them. And the only word that covers the impression it makes is “wow”.

The next Denali, the 2014-2015 edition, looks long on luxury and added power. The blacked out bumper plus the chrome trim and wheels reflect a move by GM to position the new truck at the higher end of the market. The wheels feature a distinctive spoke pattern that adds a lot of style to the increasingly bold looks of one of GM’s signature pickup trucks. The grill also appears redesigned. The MSRP of the upcoming Sierra 2500 HD Denali starts at $46,810 as listed, however briefly, on the official GM webpage. The beefier engine is rated to tow up to 16,500 pounds.

A similar treatment also appears to be in store for the Chevy Silverado, likewise produced by GM. Leaked photos of the new Silverado also show a more stylish trim and the interestingly designed spokes on the gunmetal wheels. The new Silverado also appears to be sporting 21-inch chrome wheels, instead of the previous 20-inch wheels seen on the High Country model.

No official date has been set for when you can buy one of the sexy new Denalis or Silverados for yourself. Speculation is that the new Denali will arrive in time for GM to show it off at the Texas State Fair for summer 2013.
