Surprise the Man in Your Life With a Shiny New Tailgating Truck!!!

Arbogast Buick GMC(From a dedicated mom who lives to support her husband’s football addiction.)

It’s nearly opening week for football.

This would be exciting news for me, but I don’t really follow football. I’m a mom of four and I drive a minivan. That said, my next door neighbor just bought an enormous truck the size of my house, and he looks really happy. Very, VERY happy. He waves and smiles at me as though he’s the kind of the world, riding in that shiny white GMC. I stop watering whatever dead-looking plant I’m watering and watch him roll by, jealousy in my eyes. Watching my husband look at that truck – you’d think he was catching his first glimpse of the promised land.

See, here’s the thing I don’t quite understand, even though I’ve been married 12 years. Men love two things: big trucks that make them think they are on the set of Home Improvement, and football. In that order.

I clicked over to Cars.com and saw that Dave Arbogast has a rating of 156 / 160 for total customer experience. Do you realize that that is an approval rating of 98%? One reviewer remarked, “Dependable, enthusiastic and honest service!” Yes! Someone said this! About a car dealership!

Ladies, think about your man. Think about that look on his face as you say, “Hey, honey! Will you go to the store with me?” and then – surprise! you hop into the car with all of your seven kids (Arbogast does sell conversion vans too, you know) and instead of showing up at Target, there you are, pulling into the best dealership in the city.

Trust me, he’ll be happy when he can drive that shiny new pick up into the parking lot on opening day and tailgate his little heart out. All of his friends and their wives will be listening as he regales them with tale after tale of what an amazing woman you are.

I’ve got my eye on a 2007 Toyota Avalon which I could drive behind my husband’s truck, into the tailgating area of the parking lot. I’m thinking the trunk would be good for some picnicking supplies? Ketchup? Mustard? Oversized bibs? That car is listed at $12,000 and has only 82,949 miles. Do you know how long a Toyota can last?

Men, think about your lady. Think about the look on her face changing from boredom to sheer, unadulterated JOY when, instead of taking her to the sports bar, you take her to Dave Arbogast to buy that Buick. Ok, maybe not THAT Buick, because I’m wanting to buy it. What about a nice, shiny new RV for a fall break vacation? At Dave Arbogast, the possibilities truly are endless.

So is the friendliness, and the expertise. This isn’t just a car dealership. This is a place that truly cares about people and giving each customer, male or female, an individualized, no-pressure experience.

Stop on in before the football game, and make one of the best choices of your life. Oh, and don’t forget the ketchup on opening day.
