For those who like fuel economy with their luxury, the standard 2.4 L “e-assist” mild hybrid engine delivers. Thanks to the inclusion of a 11 kilowatt electric motor and auto stop/start, this 182 hp power plant delivers an EPA-rated 36 mpg on the highway. For those that want to bend their LaCrosse in the direction of a luxury performance sedan, the 303 hp V-6 is a fine option.

No decisions are necessary when it comes to the infotainment system that GM dubs “Intellilink.” It is now standard on all 2013 Buicks. Adaptive voice recognition allows the system to “learn” your voice for more exacting performance as time goes on.

The Leather Group includes great safety features like rear parking assist and rear-view camera. Both front seats and mirrors are heated.

The Premium One level includes the 303 hp V-6 mated to a six-speed automatic. It is rated a 27 mpg on the highway in the front-wheel drive version and 25 mpg highway with the optional all-wheel drive added. A novel power rear sunshade is included. Heated and ventilated seats are also featured.

The Premium Two adds an 11-speaker Harmon Kardon surround-sound audio system, and a 110v outlet. Chrome wheels dress up the Premium Two.

Premium One and Two offer optional navigation, whereas the top-of-the line Touring edition includes navigation. The Touring also includes some of GM’s latest innovations like adaptive suspension, heads-up display, xenon headlamps, and blind-spit warning system.
